There are many ways to practise for the test.
The easiest and quickest way to get a feel for the test segments and get an accurate and direct assessment of your riding in real time is with an Instructor. Even the best videos (which we have and are currently making) whilst valuable, are unable to provide this level of feedback. You can find some certified instructors, that is those who have a licence to instructor class R licences, here
Whilst traning with an instructor is the most efficient way to learn, it is not the only way. There are other options, including getting help from family and friends, setting up the segments yourself and just practising until you get it. If you are being trained by your family, in particular your husband or wife, after a while you may think it better for your marriage to get an instructor. :)
Whatever your approach, you can find the resources that will help you to get through it. As all the directives suggest, 'the test is not hard or dangerous for a skilled rider'.
It is perfectly doable to practise on your own, but if you have a bigger bike and you want to use it, great, or if you want to absolutely demolish the course then Get taught
